Colón asked the natives from that place whether it was a dry land or an island, and they answered him that it was an infinite land of which nobody had ever seen the code, though it was an island.

THE INFINITE ISLAND

Being resolved to work in providing an Internet site which deal with tourism, gastronomy, culture and, in general, different leisure offers given in Cuba, and with the determined intention of update it daily and also to reach, in our comments, the higher number possible of villages and towns, we start right away some months ago.
The determination was difficult, but today we can say there is not a place in Internet, a magazine or a book we have used as scrutiny of so many magnificent places of the island with such gifted information.
It is made for all the persons who would like or will travel to Cuba, to those who have already been there, or to anybody interested in get to know the vitality and forcefulness of the biggest island from the Antilles.

All the outlines and the opinions given we wanted to be concentrated, direct and practice, so in the same way I am going to introduce you the different sections:

Information: Chapter with general details of the country, suggestions for the traveller and telephone numbers of interest and emergency.
Hotels - A Commented Guide. An analysis and valuation of the most operative, interesting or customary hotels in the travel offers, from most of the country. It is organised, as well as the rest of the similar sections, in towns or tourist centres.
Charming Hotels. Those small or special hotels with some historic, landscape or decorative value. In many of them we will inform you about the best rooms.
Restaurants and Paladares (non state restaurant). Where we talk, evaluate, and grade those facilities, including the ones which do not belong to the state (Paladares)
Bars and Drinks. It shows the cafeterias, where you can have a light meal, and the day bars to have a bear or a mojito.
Singular Cafés. The magic pavement cafés and saloons or the old cafés, in which you can stop while walking through the town, to relax and talk.
Beach Guide. An Exam of the main Cuban beaches.
Picturesque Villages. Here we give a brief description of the villages which have a special traditional or artistic interest.
Curious Places. We propose you some places, from squares to popular fiestas, caves and monuments, among those which are not the most visited and best known.
Cuba at night. It contains night clubs, cabarets, clubs of traditional music and night bars, with a text about their style and type of atmosphere.
Buying. It is the space in which we recommend you the products you can acquire and the place to get them.
Navigation, Diving, Ecotourism and others. We introduce you these activities and also, country tourism, of health and golf.
The Havana Cigar World. From the manufacture of the cigars up to the advice of how to enjoy them.
Maps. An easy selection of maps to locate the commented places.
Cultural Guide. It starts with the entertainment activities which will take place proximately: it counts with different lists of museums, art galleries, theatres, cinemas, churches and others. Here you can find La Gaceta de Cuba, possibly the best magazine of culture published in the Island.
Musical Performances: A list of the concerts and recitals, from salsa and son up to classical ballet.
Opinion. Articles and collaborations of important personalities of the arts or the letters.
Cuba à la Carte. We can have specialised consults about travels, projects, interests, or questions you may have.

Newness of the Year. The latest hotels, restaurants, bars, museums,... open to the public. In a subsection, we will give you the ones that will open in the following months.
TOP, The Best of Cuba, Our list of success, where we include cafés, hotels, places to eat, beaches, or fashion tendencies. It will frequently change and the towns will keep a fit number of them ( La Habana, 20; Varadero, 10; Santiago, 6, etc. )

Besides, the following months will bring more chapters in which we are already working. We have put all our care in this effort, with the security of having created a unique site and with the hope of continue to grow in this task that fills us so much.

To end it, we coul use the words of Navarro Luna and say to you: "You are in the Island of Cuba, not be surprised by anything"
